Greta van Sustren shot to fame amid the O.J. scandal in the 90s. Now, CNN's Nancy Grace, is attempting to ride the Michael Jackson trial to widespread fame.

There's just one problem.

As a lawyer, she lacks any sort of objectivity. And at her worst, van Sustren explained both sides of the aisle to us. To Grace, Michael Jackson is already guilty.

Not that I disagree. But Grace is condemning this man without the help of a judge or a jury. This isn't her place. She's a capitalist, for god's sake. She's selling her wares, the most valuable of which is her sanctimonious, moralizing opinions. We all know that. We all DO that.

But imagine yourself in a position facing false conviction. What about Nick Yarris, or the Olympic Park bombing- a debacle that might've ruined an innocent man's life?

With the publicity available thanks to our nonstop media outlets, information flies across the globe in an instant. But Grace, tagged "supreme ass-clown" in the blogging community, is making a mockery of the legal system she once swore to uphold.

In May 20th's San Francisco Chronicle, Peter Hartlaub dissects Grace's risky antics... eh, tactics at the helm of CNN's lineup. He terms her style "mob justice." Hartlaub further asserts that Grace latches onto topics that Middle America cheers her for- spouting ideas that no reasonable person would question and catapoulting her ratings into the stratosphere.

All fine and good- except that we have a little thing called law and order in this country.

So, is the Serious Bitch being too hard on her?

I like Grace. She's entertaining. She's just forgotten about a little thing called professional ethics amid her... uh, antics.
